AlbertaW e are a passionate and driven collective, committed to building sustainable cricket programs in Edmonton, Alberta. Our mission is to create year-round opportunities for all ages, from 15 to over 50, through local community centers and associations.
We aim to make cricket not just a sport, but a thriving, accessible, and affordable experience for every youth across the city of Edmonton, fostering a love for the game and a sense of unity within our community.
The Edmonton Chargers club began with just 5 players: Shivdeep Kher, Jignesh Patel, Mayur Patel, Mrunal Vyas and Avadh Dhani. At that time, we never imagined reaching the milestone of over 90 members.
Today, with more than 45 active players this year alone, our club has grown into a vibrant community driven by an unwavering passion for cricket. Our diverse membership includes players of all skill levels, from newcomers to seasoned professionals, who compete in a variety of cricket formats throughout the year.
